Churchill Fellowship

UK, France and Italy
2018

In 2018 I will be travelling to the UK, France and Italy to visit historic and contemporary institutions that hold and exhibit specialised botanical and medical collections. My area of interest is how contemporary drawing and curatorial practice interacts with and conveys these collections to the wider public.

Asialink

Sri Lanka
2005

A fascination with the island flora, botanical art and history allowed me to spend time at the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, close to Kandy. Here I was able to work directly with the plants and the people of the gardens.
